The Forest Meeker House, built in 1823, is one of the oldest and most prominent historic homesteads in Delaware County. The home has been transformed into a fine educational museum of the early settlement of the county. Diane Williams will lead you on a tour of the second floor of the home, providing a glimpse of pioneer life and information on American Indians of the area. Galleries on the second floor also provide information on other facets of 19th century life in Delaware County. This is a unique opportunity to tour a wonderful historic property without leaving your home. Thanks to the Delaware County Historical Society for sharing this.
