Erik Larson, Author Visit
Location: Westerville South High School
Over 100 years ago, a British passenger ship set sail from New York and was torpedoed off the coast of Ireland. Through the lens of his book Dead Wake, Erik Larson, known as the master of narrative nonfiction, will talk about his approach to writing history and the importance of finding and using archival detail to put readers at the heart of the action -- or in this case, into the waters of the Irish Sea.
This event is part of a series for the 5th annual community-wide reading program, Westerville Reads.
