Fiscal Officer Receives Auditor of State Award

Westerville, OH – On July 6, 2021, the Auditor of State Keith Faber announced that the Westerville Public Library has qualified for the Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction.

This is the fourth year in a row that the Library has received this award for meeting the criteria of a “clean” audit report, which contained no findings for recovery, material citations, material weaknesses, significant deficiencies or questioned costs. The award is based on an audit of the 2020 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, filed by the Library’s Fiscal Officer, Erin Hill.

“This award recognizes the hard work of fiscal offices to keep clean, accurate records,” said Auditor Faber. “Their efforts go a long way toward making Ohio more efficient, effective, and transparent.” said Auditor Faber said in a press release.
